This one-day conference brings together key speakers from EPI-USE Labs and various companies who have experienced the benefits of EPI-USE Labs' products and services. Hilton has over 15 years SAP experience built on a solid technical foundation. He started as an ABAP consultant and went on to spend 3 years working abroad. He joined EPI-USE when he returned to South Africa and broadened his HR functional skills. In 2008 he joined EPI-USE Labs to focus on product development, and became a product manager. Since 2011 he has been responsible for Labs business development in South Africa and the Middle East.
Egideon made his name as a technical consultant at EMC, after which he became head of Strategy, Architecture and Innovation at Telkom. He is a certified EMC/Cisco SAN (Storage Area Network) Expert and is behind the creation of the biggest SAN in the southern hemisphere. He also designed and built Telkom's first Cloud platform used for SAP SRM. These days he is the driving force behind the EPI-USE Labs Cloud initiative.
Amelda has over 12 years of SAP HCM experience and is currently heading up the EPI-USE Labs product training programme. Her broad background is a technical one. She has been an ABAP developer for a number of years, and she has first-hand experience with SAP upgrades and the loading of SAP Support packs. Importantly, she is knowledgeable in the field of business requirements having lead the SAP HCM IT team at Telkom. Her passion is customer satisfaction, and she will walk the extra mile gladly to help people learn and understand the products and systems they work with.
Tim has spent 13 years (ten with SAP) as an HCM functional specialist. He has extensive technical and functional understanding of SAP HCM and what businesses are looking for from their HCM systems. He specialises in payroll, personnel admin and PD (including Talent and LSO) and has vast experience in data analysis, having designed operational reporting strategies for small and large multi-national enterprises. "He believes in SAP saying It is crucial to know how to get SAP to do what you need it to do."
Pierre has a deep understanding of SAP, gained in his previous role as software engineer in the Data Sync Manager development team. Over the last 8 years he has concentrated on various web-based projects for EPI-USE Labs. He is currently the head of our web platform development team, which focuses on new products and technologies for EPI-USE Labs, such as Client Central and the Enterprise Cloud Platform.
Petrus completed his diploma in Information Technology and joined the SAP BASIS Administration team of Affinity Logic where he gained experience in SAP ERP, BIW and CRM implementation. After a spell at the Gauteng Shared Services Centre (GSSC), he joined Sentech in 2006 where he continues today. As the SAP Basis Specialist he is deeply involved in all things SAP, in particular ERP technical upgrades, DB migration and is currently assisting with SAP ECC6 upgrading. His knowledge of SAP is extensive and honed by many years of hands-on experience.
Jac is co-head of the SAP Services consulting division at EPI-USE Africa in charge of a portfolio of accounts and Workforce Management. His expertise is long, vast and multi-layered and an abridged record includes business administration and development, sales and marketing, project management, SAP solution architecting, SAP HR consulting, system audits, ERP Roadmaps, HR Transformation and ROI. He enjoys partnerships with SAP, Access Control Vendors, ClickSoftware, Nakisa, OpenText and SuccessFactors. Jac has consulted across the globe and is a regular speaker at SAP events like the Global SAP HR Conference and SAP ASUG events.
Sue Geuens CDMP, MDQM started in Data Management in 1996. A variety of roles followed and soon her clients grew to include three of the top four SA banking institutions, telecommunication companies, pension funds, insurance companies and health organizations. She designed the data quality matching algorithms for Plasma Mind, a South African-built Data Quality and Matching tool and is current president of DAMA SA, which she started in 2009. She is a sought-after presenter and a speaker at many forums and DAMA chapters. Her thought-provoking presentation on Practical Data Governance has sparked intense interest worldwide.
Jaco has had long experience at EPI-USE Labs and at present leads the Data Sync Manager team in South Africa. After working on various software development projects, Jaco moved into the SAP space, first as a basis administrator and later into the development team at Labs. He gained much experience on a wide variety of projects within the HCM suite before joining the Data Sync Manager team, where his initial responsibilities centred round the delivery process. He is one of the principal developers of Data Secure 3.
Cornelius has over 12 years' experience in the Agricultural Financial Service Sector, and was the solution lead and custodian for the implementation of the SAP ERP and core banking solution for AFGRI Financial Services. Cornelius has a wealth of banking and SAP implementation experience, and he has successfully completed two full SAP life cycle projects in the AGRI banking industry with more than 3 years SAP project experience and 5 years SAP / IT support experience. He is managing a strong team of IT Professionals for the past 3 years with a track record of many successes.
Iris joined SAP in 1998, working on projects and training SAP HR and Payroll in Dubai, Europe, Africa, the USA and China. The business user has always been her primary concern and her strengths in HR and Payroll are Business Process mapping to SAP to ensure the customer's processes are effectively supported by SAP and related technology. She has forged a strong relationship between Dimension Data South SA and Coca-Cola SABCO, having taken several payrolls live in the initial stages of Coca Cola's SAP rollout projects. EPI-USE Labs forms the third leg of this successful relationship because their Rest of Africa payroll models were used in the Coca Cola Payroll country rollouts. Iris works at Dimension Data SA.
