Imagine being able to pick the minds of some of the most experienced and prestigious users of EPI-USE Labs products. Our user group programme allows you to do just that. On this day you can gain valuable insights from those who have hands-on experience and discover the potential and possibilities that can be harnessed and capitalized on.
The programme has been divided into two streams according to user needs, namely Application Lifestyle Management (ALM) and Human Capital Management (HCM). Selected customers will detail their use of EPI-USE Labs products in their SAP environments and BP will present their observations and insights into Data Sync Manager. The day will end with practical demonstrations by EPI-USE Labs experts.
All users of EPI-USE Labs products and interested clients. Our aim is to inform, inspire, foster collaboration and help users get the very best out of their investment.

Evan has been involved with SAP for the past 13 years, and started EPI-USE Labs Europe in 2003. Previously his roots were in marketing and customer relationship management. In the past 12 years at Labs he has built an extensive sales, services and partner network for the company. Today he manages the Northern European region for the organisation.
Egideon made his name as a technical consultant at EMC, after which he became head of Strategy, Architecture and Innovation at Telkom. He is a certified EMC/Cisco SAN (Storage Area Network) Expert and is behind the creation of the biggest SAN in the southern hemisphere. He also designed and built Telkom's first Cloud platform used for SAP SRM. These days he is the driving force behind the EPI-USE Labs Cloud initiative.
Paul has for many years been a remarkable technical force at EPI-USE Labs. As Head of Landscape and Data Services, his portfolio includes System Landscape Optimization and his hands-on experience of implementing Data Sync Manager and helping clients to manage data across the breadth of their SAP landscape is unique.
Tim has spent 13 years (ten with SAP) as an HCM functional specialist. He has extensive technical and functional understanding of SAP HCM and what businesses are looking for from their HCM systems. He specialises in payroll, personnel admin and PD (including Talent and LSO) and has vast experience in data analysis, having designed operational reporting strategies for small and large multi-national enterprises. "He believes in SAP saying It is crucial to know how to get SAP to do what you need it to do."
Jaco has had long experience at EPI-USE Labs and at present leads the Data Sync Manager team in South Africa. After working on various software development projects, Jaco moved into the SAP space, first as a basis administrator and later into the development team at Labs. He gained much experience on a wide variety of projects within the HCM suite before joining the Data Sync Manager team, where his initial responsibilities centred round the delivery process. He is one of the principal developers of Data Secure 3.
Marcel Rabe is a SAP consultant with nearly 20 years experience in IT and particularly with SAP. Currently in the role of SAP architect guarding the overall architecture on one hand and driving innovation at the other.
Romano is the Head of Demand Management at Hovis, he is the businesses' primary point of contact for all IS application related services and is responsible for managing the relationship between IT, the business and third parties to ensure the business and IS are aligned; he has worked at Hovis since April 2014. He has indepth experience of the SAP HCM modules having project managed the roll-ut of HCM for the whole of Hovis.
Di has worked for Worcestershire County Council for over 16 years. She has been involved with the development and support of SAP Payroll since the initial implementation of HR Payroll in 2007. More recently she was involved in the conversion of Academy Schools. She is now responsible for Payroll developments. She has extensive experience of using Query Manager, Variance Monitor and Data Sync Manager.
A senior SAP technical consultant with more than 7 years of experience, Juanma began as an ABAP Developer which afforded him high-level knowledge of HCM reporting requirements. This background has been the ideal foundation for the EPIUSE Labs product range, specifically, Query Manager.
Yogesh has more than 13 years of experience as a risk management consultant covering IT, Finance, regulatory affairs and transformation programs. In his current role with Sony Electronics, Yogesh is leading the security, data privacy, and information risk management initiatives for SAP systems across the enterprise.
Helen has worked for Warburtons since March 2006 but has over fifteen years experience of SAP HR. Her focus is on continuous improvement to deliver value to the business through SAP. Previously Helen has also chaired the HR SIG .
Neil has worked for Worcestershire County Council for over 32 years. He has been involved with the development and support of SAP Financials since its initial implementation in 2001. He has been involved in HR Payroll and Travel module since the implementation in 2007 and is responsible for SAP Users and Authorisations. Part of his duties is to support the use of the EPI-USE tools used at Worcestershire County Council.
Phillip's career began in the early 1990s as UNIX administrator at the University of Pretoria, after which he worked as an SAP Basis consultant first at EPI-USE and then at the SAP AG and The Coca-Cola Company's Joint Development Center in Germany and the US. When he returned to South Africa he led the EPI-USE SAP technology team and grew their revenue 15-fold in five years. He established an R&D company inside the EPI-USE group to create solutions to simplify and enhance the management of SAP data and landscapes. Today EPI-USE Labs has a global footprint employing over 130 people in 11 countries.
Phillip has an irrepressible passion for the many facets of Software Engineering and enjoys building innovative world-class teams with a flair for the entrepreneurial. He is currently based in Atlanta, Georgia
As the CEO and owner of Winterhawk Europe, Middle East and Africa, Asia Pacific & Oceania regions, Steve is responsible for all day-to-day operations, resource and management decisions and for developing company strategy. Steve began his career in technology some 27 years ago and has more than 20 years' senior leadership experience in large blue chip organizations. He has managed SAP Centres of Excellence, Quality Assurance, IT and SAP Security and Governance groups across Financial Services, Consumer Packaged Goods and Media industries. Steve has worked in numerous countries across Europe as well as in North America, and managed multiple large global SAP Security projects. In addition, he has extensive experience with developing controls, implementing policies and procedures to meet new and evolving regulatory requirements and streamlining business procedures to enhance productivity, and to achieve cost and resource efficiencies.
Jan is a senior technology executive with over twenty years of experience with large scale systems and technology transformations and operations, managing annual budgets in excess of $150 million. After 8 years in the United States where he was serving as Chief Technology Officer at Kraft Foods Group, Jan has recently returned to Europe where he will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer at Faroese Telecom. Jan has a Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degrees in Business Administration and Computer Science from the Copenhagen Business School in Denmark.
