LONDON – 14 October 2014 – Yesterday, EPI-USE Labs held its first EPI-USE Labs User Group event at the Royal College of Physicians in London. A group of customers, strategic partners and Labs product specialists came together to talk about best practices and future product and service line developments. The event was well attended and many customers asked for further similar engagements because it added so much value to their use of the products.

Evan Jones (EPI-USE Labs’ Regional Director for the Northern European region) opened the event and thanked the community for their inputs into the EPI-USE Labs products. This was followed by keynote sessions from Paul Hammersley and Tim Barker (Product Specialists at EPI-USE Labs) on the product roadmaps for Data Sync Manager, Query Manager and Variance Monitor. This session included previews into pre-release highlights and benefits from functionality to be released in the near future. Egideon Bands (Vice President for Cloud services) introduced new solutions that Labs are offering for migrating to the cloud and streamlining the implementation – whether on a private, public or hybrid cloud environment.

During breaks the delegates took the opportunity to network with fellow product users and share their experience and expertise with each other. The day will be remembered for the great spirit of sharing between everyone.

After the lunch break two streams commenced, namely the SAP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) stream, which focussed on the Data Sync Manager product suite and cloud initiatives, and the Human Capital Management (HCM) stream, which centred around Variance Monitor and Query Manager. Four customers presented and shared their stories with the audience.

“I don’t know how we ever coped without Data Sync Manager and Variance Monitor, we use it on a daily basis.” Alison Thatcher, Hampshire County Council.

The day ended with hands-on sessions in which the attending Labs specialists were asked for advice and customers could get practical help on the spot.

“We are very pleased to have seen so many of our customers and partners yesterday; and so grateful and appreciative of their positivity and enthusiasm towards EPI-USE Labs - a real pleasure that they have shared the Labs Journey with us. It was a great day and we will definitely do this again next year.” Evan Jones, EPI-USE Labs.
