On this day you can gain valuable insights from those who have hands-on experience and discover the potential and possibilities that can be harnessed and capitalized on.
The program has been divided into two streams according to user needs, namely Application Lifestyle Management (ALM) and Human Capital Management (HCM). Selected customers will detail their use of EPI-USE Labs products and their experiences using our supporting services. The day will end with a cocktail reception and networking with EPI-USE Labs experts.
All users of EPI-USE Labs products and interested clients. Our aim is to inform, inspire, foster collaboration and help users get the very best out of their investment.

Lee Johnson has been the SVP & Chief Information Officer for GulfMark since 2009. He has over 30+ years of experience in applying technical solutions and leading information technology organizations. Previously, Mr. Johnson was with Tatum LLC as a partner and practice leader and also served in CIO leadership positions where he led the technology and product development of next-generation hardware and software technologies. Mr. Johnson has a B.S. degree from the Pennsylvania State University and attended the Executive Masters Program in Computer Science and Software Engineering at Southern Methodist University.
Nancy Boyer is a SAP Time Analyst at the Office of the Controller for the State of North Carolina. Nancy has a B.S. in Business from Wesley College and has been with the state for 19 years She began her career as a Systems Accountant supporting the ongoing operations for the statewide accounting system: general ledger, budget and financial reporting. In 2006, she joined the integration and deployment team for the HR/Payroll implementation project which replaced the legacy HR system and two payroll systems with SAP software for over 80K employees.
Paul has 35 years of experience in the technology field with the last 15 years focused as a Senior Management Basis professional at the State of South Carolina that includes oversight and thought leadership with SAP HR, ERP, Success Factors, Business Process Improvement, Netweaver, R/3 and ABAP and Change Management. Paul received his degree from the University of Connecticut with a BA in Psychology.
Jennifer Boyette is a seasoned SAP Payroll and Time Analyst at the Office of Controller for the State of North Carolina. Jennifer has over nine years experience with multiple facets of the State of North Carolina's Human Capital Management deployment, implementation and support. Jennifer has been working with the EPI-USE Labs HCM solutions for multiple years and has a wealth of knowledge and experience improving business processes.
Tom has been one of the most sought after knowledge leaders in the SAP HCM space. Tom's current role at LyondellBasell is Global Solutions and Human Resources HRIS and HRIM. Prior to his involvement with LyondellBasell, Tom was involved with successful and complex projects at the State of South Carolina and the State of Florida and has been a Subject Matter Expert with the EPI-USE Labs HCM Solutions for many years.
John Cloud is a seasoned Information Technology professional with over thirty years of experience and specialization with SAP ABAP Development and HR/Payroll/Benefits Configuration Analysis. John began his career as a Programmer from Houston Lighting and Power and after many years with NRG Energy and their previous organizations has recently retired and has a wealth of knowledge to share with the SAP Community in Houston, Texas and beyond.
Paul leads the Americas region for EPI-USE Labs where he is passionate about driving value. He has over 20 years IT experience and is based out of the Bay Area, California.
Joerg has over 20 years experience and currently leads Global Marketing for EPI-USE Labs. His passion is "putting that extra into ordinary" and is based out of Frankfurt, Germany
Danielle is an executive in HRIS and an SAP mentor focusing on the HCM module. She has also authored four best-selling books on SAP, two specific to SAP HCM Reporting and has been a featured speaker at numerous international conferences on topics such as human resources, technology, change management and leadership.
Egideon Bands is the Vice President for Cloud Services at EPI-USE Labs responsible for the global Cloud Services strategy. He is a qualified Electrical Engineer, starting his career at IBM as a customer mainframe engineer. After this he moved to EMC becoming an Advisory Technical consultant, communicating their Cloud strategy and vision. He then moved to the IT department of Telkom South-Africa and was responsible for strategy, architecture and innovation prior to joining EPI-USE Labs.
IT Professional with 26 years of experience in areas such as: Analysis, Design, Development in Information Technologies within Multinational Company. With theoretical and practical knowledge in processes and structures of ITIL, Business Process Management (BPM), Quality Assurance and testing in IT, configuration and knowledge in SAP technology.

Marius leads various aspects of Product Development for EPI-USE Labs where has been for the past 10 years. He is based out of Atlanta, Georgia
Juliet has 20 years SAP experience and currently leads the GRC & Security consulting practise at EPI-USE America. She lives in Denver, Colorado.
Anne Salmon is an SAP System Administrator for BWX Technologies, Inc. where she has worked since 2002. She currently manages SAP ECC, BI, Solution Manager, and PI application systems, SAP databases, and third party SAP systems at BWXT.
Ed Pearce has a very distinguished background in technology leadership that includes his current role as the Director of The State of South Carolina's Enterprise Information Services for the Department of Administration and prior to this position, Ed was the CFO of the South Carolina Department of Juvenile Justice System. Ed's leadership and accomplishments include a major undertaking of consolidating 70 State agencies and 44,000 employees into a single Statewide Enterprise System. Ed is a graduate of Newberry College.
Jeff is an extremely well respected Basis Consultant known throughout the United States and has spent the last ten plus years working directly with the State of South Carolina. Prior to his engagement with the State of South Carolina, Jeff was a lead Basis expert for Lyondell Chemical and then LyondellBassell for sixteen plus years in total. Jeff is a graduate of Bellevue University.
Lyall leads the service delivery team for the American region of EPI-USE Labs. He is based out of Portland, Oregon and is passionate about customer success.
Jan van Rensburg has 20 years of IT management and security experience. He is involved in EPI-USE Labs' Elephant, Rhinos & People (ERP) initiative to conserve and improve the welfare of Elephants & Rhinos through a poverty alleviation strategy.
John has over 25 years SAP experience having worked for SAP for a number of years and he currently leads EPI-USE Lab's Landscape Transformation practice. He is a long time California resident and Cal Poly alum.
