For existing Data Sync Manager (DSM) clients looking to move to DSM 5, we offer upgrade services, where we can run side-by-side syncs, making sure that the stability our clients have enjoyed with Data Sync Manager 4, has moved seamlessly across to DSM 5.

In terms of functionality with the new version, the data can be copied consistently between ERP and other systems like CRM and SRM, and there is a consistency of masking that happens as well. So the same data gets the same new values.

The masking now also happens on exit which makes it much more secure, ensuring there is no sensitive data in test systems.

Learn about the key differences between Data Sync Manager (DSM) version 5 and previous versions from Paul Hammersley, SVP of ALM Product Portfolio at EPI-USE Labs. With DSM, you can rapidly create new non-production systems, reduce the footprint when refreshing existing test clients or creating new ones, and copy selected data on demand, all with integrated scrambling of data for security.
