James is responsible for the global line of business for EPI-USE Labs' data privacy and SAP IS-* Solutions, supporting all regions and key accounts running Data Sync Manager (DSM) for these complex requirements. With a functional and business background of over 20 years, James provides the bridge between Development, Basis, Test/Competency Centres and leadership teams to provide guidance and advise on the route to data privacy compliance. His history includes SAP specialisms in non-production data management and anonymisation, Production data removal or redactions, System Landscape Optimisation (SLO) and SAP industry solutions.

Rohin Ramjee
SME Security and Data Privacy Lead, EPI-USE Labs

Rohin focuses on EPI-USE Labs’ data privacy offerings, which provide solutions for production and non-production data handling. Having implemented data privacy solutions across many diverse systems and landscapes for our clients, Rohin is a subject matter expert concerning data privacy, security and risk. He is also multi-skilled across various HCM modules, having spent many years as an SAP HCM Functional Consultant, with expertise in SAP HCM Payroll, Personnel Administration, Organisational Management and Authorisations.

Johann Haefele
CISO, EPI-USE Labs

Johann oversees Governance, Cyber and Information Security, and Data Protection requirements to ensure that EPI-USE Labs maintains the necessary processes, controls, and documentation to align with international standards, and provide secure solutions. He has extensive knowledge of risk management, internal and external auditing, and implementing security standards. He maintains our privacy and information security management system, and is responsible for implementing and maintaining certifications such as ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 27017 and SOC 2 Type 2, and HIPAA attestations.

Danie Loots
Associate Partner at Advance.io

Danie Loots is a Risk and Information Security Steward at Advance, with experience in protecting sensitive data and ensuring strong security governance. He leads a project at a major telecommunications provider in South Africa, where he oversees an application used by law enforcement agencies to legally obtain user information. Danie also conducts forensic investigations into unauthorised access to personal data and fraudulent activities, and was part of the team responsible for achieving EPI-USE Africa’s initial ISO 27001 certification.
