Our set of coloured blocks, made up of our ten secondary colours, plays an integral role in connecting our EPI-USE Labs’ culture with our brand.
Each colour has a theme, and represents a set of concepts drawn from our culture and values.

These blocks appear throughout all our marketing material as a ‘golden thread’ connecting to our culture.
They act as a visual reminder of who we are; our culture is a fundamental part of everything we do, and guides how we interact with our colleagues and clients.

Built on academic excellence

The story of our company began with a professor who headed up the Department of Computer Science at the University of Pretoria in South Africa. What started out as a way to fund expensive computer equipment for the university turned into a global success story.

Our academic roots are still strong. At EPI-USE Labs, we gather the brightest and most innovative minds in our field. We are highly-qualified professionals, with many degrees and numerous SAP certifications.

Leading by example: going Beyond Corporate Purpose

EPI-USE Labs is a member of Group Elephant. Our group is characterized by a primary strategic imperative in terms of which we go ‘Beyond Corporate Purpose’ in our day-to-day activities.

Group Elephant also owns and funds a non-profit entity called Elephants, Rhinos & People (ERP) focusing on the preservation of at-risk elephants and rhinos through poverty alleviation.

Our clients give us purpose. Everything we build and deliver addresses a specific challenge that our clients are facing today, or we believe they will encounter at some point in the future as a resultof ever-changing IT and business landscapes. Their feedback provides critical input to our conscious innovation cycle. Through this, we adjust ourexisting roadmaps, and deliver new products and services that will be required by our clients as theycompete in their own markets, and offer solutions to their own clients.

Beyond corporate purpose

EPI-USE Labs is a member of Group Elephant, which employs over 3,700 people and is largely employee-owned. Group Elephant also owns and funds a non-profit entity called Elephants, Rhinos & People (ERP) focusing on the preservation of at-risk elephants and rhinos through the economic upliftment of rural people in areas adjacent to these threatened species. 1% of our revenue is channelled into the ERP program.

Bees, honey and elephants

Beehive fences, set up as a natural barrier around rural communities and farms, take advantage of elephants' fear of bees to protect crops from free-roaming elephants. As well as providing protection against elephants, the beehives produce raw honey, creating employment and an income stream for local communities.
