Role: Pre-sales Consultant
Position overview
As part of EPI-USE Labs Sales team, the Presales Consultant will play a key role in helping expand EPI-USE Labs revenue and client list in the Japanese market for 2025 and beyond through product and services lead opportunity conversion. The successful candidate will engage with clients to articulate the value of EPI-USE Labs solutions, particularly around SAP data management and transformation initiatives. The role combines solution consulting, presales engagement, and deep understanding of SAP landscapes.

We are pioneers in SAP data solutions, having developed software such as our Data Sync Manager™ (DSM) Suite, and leaders in transformation projects including Selective Data Transition (SDT) and System Landscape Optimization (SLO).
We are seeking energetic performers who are successful, competitive, outgoing, articulate, enjoy relationship building and can sell. You should be very comfortable presenting directly to our clients and at the executive level.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor to prospective and existing clients in Japan
- Deliver high-impact product demonstrations, workshops, and technical presentations
- Support the sales cycle with discovery sessions, technical architecture guidance, and proof of concept planning
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and delivery teams globally to tailor solutions for local client needs
- Share expertise in Selective Data Transition (SDT), System Landscape Optimization (SLO), and SAP transformation best practices
- Be involved in the sales process with a corresponding Regional Account Executive, Marketing Manager and Country Manager
Experience and skills required
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in SAP consulting, presales, or system implementation
- Familiarity with SAP technologies such as Basis, SAP SuccessFactors, Payroll, and ABAP
- Working knowledge of System Landscape Optimization (SLO) and Selective Data Transition (SDT) methodologies
- Fluency in Japanese (native level or business fluent) and English (business fluent) is mandatory
- Must be currently residing in Japan or willing to relocate
- Korean language skills are a plus, but not required
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
