Role: Resource & Scheduling Manager, Latin America

Position overview

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organized individual to manage resource assignment and capacity planning. As a Resource Manager, you will be responsible for supporting consultant allocation, maintaining resource data, and assisting with capacity planning across active projects. The role forms part of a global resource management team, with a primary focus on the Americas region, while supporting global delivery. You will work alongside the project management team to ensure efficient processes that enable high-quality client service across a multinational software organization.

Responsibilities

  • Acting as a key link between sales and project delivery teams
  • Working in a client-facing environment, with clients in multiple industries and geographic locations.
  • Supporting the continued growth and development of the global Project Management Office (PMO)
  • Managing work allocation, including:
    • Following established resource management processes and structures
    • Coordinating project lead times with Sales across project types and regions
    • Monitoring and reviewing consultant utilization
  • Conducting regular pipeline and capacity reviews to ensure accurate forecasting of resource requirements.
  • Acting as custodian of the graceful opening procedure, ensuring the smooth kick-off of all projects, including;
    • Staffing allocation
    • Project initiation/kick-off call
    • Project setup in OA and Monday.com
    • Project closure in OA and internal communications
  • Managing project setup during the transition from contract signature through to project kick-off
  • Maintaining regular consultant touchpoints and acting as an alternative escalation point for capacity constraints or scheduling conflicts
  • Supporting the onboarding and integration of new consultants into resource planning and delivery processes
  • Ensuring timesheet compliance from all consultants.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in any discipline (desirable)
  • Recognized project management certification e.g PRINCE2, AgilePM, PMP, MSP, PMI, PMQ. (desirable)

Essential experience:

  • Experience supporting resource management, workforce allocation or staffing coordination
  • Experience using resource planning or resource management tools
  • Knowledge of resource planning and forecasting processes

Desirable experience:

  • Experience working within SAP project environments.
  • Experience using Monday.com, Microsoft Project, Primavera or other project planning tool

Essential aptitude/abilities/skills:

  • Ability to work on own initiative and with limited to zero management supervision over long periods
  • A 'quality first' approach, with a good eye for detail and an appetite for documenting work
  • Ability to communicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and support effective project co-ordination
  • Highly competent in Microsoft Office e.g. Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally if required
  • Multi-lingual: Spanish and English.

Position, compensation and benefits

  • Full-time permanent position
  • Based at the EPI-USE Labs office in Colombia, Mexico or Peru
  • Remote working/working from home can be considered
