This SAUG Technology & Platforms SIG  focused on UX & Fiori as well as making your SAP systems lean and secure. The SAUG Technology & Platforms SIG is a group which regularly discusses numerous solutions, technologies and techniques to help you understand and make the most of your SAP systems. Discussions range from business and strategic presentation to deep dive technical sessions, demonstrations, panel discussions and more. This SIG meeting featured:

• Expert Presentation: How to Transition successfully from SAP GUI to SAP Fiori with SAP S/4HANA, presented by our guest expert, Jocelyn Dart, SAP Technology Ambassador, Product Expert and UX Strategist, SAP ANZ. Many SAUG members are looking for tips, tricks and tactics as they shift from SAP GUI to Fiori to take advantage of the latest SAP S/4HANA innovations, so this presentation is a treat. Understand the mindset shifts you need to encourage, the missteps to avoid, and see some pragmatic examples of how to shift users based on the latest go-lives in Australia/New Zealand and elsewhere.

  Our news feed is full of stories about data being mishandled which means that data and data privacy should be core to every individual and business – whether for-profit, NGO or Government.
  The idea of ‘Lean Secure SAP’ is that clients can establish transformation in their processes and standards to focus far more strongly on reducing data volumes, increasing data agility, data scrambling and the proactive management of private data.
  In this session, Daniel discusses the five principles of ‘Lean Secure SAP’ and how platform costs, growing data privacy concerns, and specialist DevOps are driving the move to this new paradigm.
