Role: Lead Consultant in Data Privacy, Australia

Position overview

This is a new position for an experienced consultant to join our Professional Services team as a regional Service Delivery Consultant, specialising in Data Privacy and its impact on the SAP data model. Supporting pre-sales and junior consultants, and also delivering solutions directly to clients, this is a varied role which is sure to challenge the successful candidate.

EPI-USE Labs consultants are versatile; able to discuss functional intricacies within their specialist area, but also technically adept to be able to trouble shoot/performance tune and debug processes as needed.

Responsibilities

Following an initial onboarding and training schedule, the successful candidate will be required to:

  • Support pre-sales in demonstrating EPI-USE Labs products, and communicating the value to our clients
  • Build and manage a team within a regional business
  • Complete technical implementation of software for Landscape Management and Data Privacy solutions
  • Manage scope and documentation throughout the project lifecycle
  • Conduct clear, professional client communications to all levels, from CxO to Basis advisor and everything in between
  • Support the team internally, and transfer specialist knowledge
  • Complete regular certification and training to increase specialisms/knowledge
  • Prepare and produce blogs, webinars and other marketing content to support business development and growth.

Experience and skills

The successful candidate will be able to evidence the following essential experiences and capabilities:

  • Experience within SAP Master Data Management, functional Competency Centre or Centre of Excellence (CoE) with responsibility for data model components, business change impacts, ad hoc reporting or similar SAP Data and Table based responsibilities
  • Detailed knowledge and understanding of two or more SAP data model components
  • ABAP coding experience, able to write simple programs and/or adapt programs to a specific use case
  • Total SAP experience of six years or more
  • Full project lifecycle experience, either in a Project Management or Delivery role
  • Delivery of project documentation, from Requirement and Scope documents through to Delivery summaries
  • Capable of communicating clearly on complex issues, including to non-technical audiences during pre-sales
  • Capable of working effectively with MS Office products and Google Workspace applications
  • Keen and able to travel
  • Fluent English.

Note that because of federal government security clearance requirements, applicants must be Australian citizens.

The following experiences and capabilities will be an advantage, but are not essential. Full training and support will be given by EPI-USE Labs for the right candidate:

  • Technical experience of SAP process debugging, completing performance impact assessments and delivering technical recommendations
  • Functional knowledge of additional SAP components i.e. CRM, FICO or Logistics
  • Speak two or more regional languages.
