Role: SAP HCM Migration Consultant UK
What you’ll do
As the senior consultant on this role, you'll:
- Own delivery of a live SAP HCM transformation or S/4HANA migration engagement end-to-end – from early data-scope assessment and solution design, through build and testing, to go-live and post-go-live support.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client on the SAP data model, advising on solution approach and roadmap.
- Get involved before the project is signed where relevant – supporting pre-sales conversations on scope, approach, and feasibility for prospective clients.
- Lead the day-to-day coordination with the Project Management Office (PMO) and any other consultants on the engagement.
- Be knowledgeable in the basic test practices to advise and guide clients and customers on the correct timing and steps to perform during test phases (SIT, UAT).
- Build deep expertise in our proprietary PRISM tooling through structured, dedicated training, becoming a go-to specialist on it for future projects.
- Contribute to internal capability-building by mentoring and coaching more junior consultants as part of the role.
Why this role?
You'll own complex, enterprise-scale SAP problems and build direct client relationships early – which is the kind of exposure that turns a good consultant into an elite one. We trust senior consultants to run their engagements. Our teams work remotely across countries, so you'll need to be comfortable driving your own priorities and making calls without always waiting for sign-off. In addition, you’ll be joining a company that puts a share of what you help deliver into something beyond the client relationship. EPI-USE Labs is part of Group Elephant, which channels 1% of revenue into Elephants, Rhinos & People (ERP), a non-profit we run ourselves that protects endangered wildlife and supports the rural communities living alongside them.
Must-have
- Strong, demonstrable SAP Technical HCM experience at a senior level, with proven autonomy in analysis, configuration, and problem-solving
- Track record leading a client through a complex SAP project – not just contributing to one – from design through to go-live
- Confidence in acting as a trusted advisor to the client, which involves being comfortable across both functional and technical conversations without needing sign-off from someone more senior
Nice-to-have
- ABAP experience (read/debug)
- Experience with S/4HANA, Payroll, or SuccessFactors migrations specifically
- Willingness to travel for client engagements when needed
Position, compensation and benefits
- Full-time, permanent – hybrid, remote, or part-time considered
- Salary: Competitive, benchmarked against the UK market for this level of SAP experience, and confirmed during the interview process
- Annual discretionary bonus, weighted 80% on your own contribution and delivery, and 20% on overall business performance – so, most of your bonus outcome is in your control
- Home-working / mobile allowance
- UK private medical, pension and insurance benefits
