It runs on a periodic basis, as determined by your business.

With Data Retain, you can build highly configurable rules to apply retention periods to different types of data. When executed, it will apply those rules to identify sets of data which are now due for redaction. This will allow your organisation to keep applying retention policies and redacting data on an ongoing basis, to help you comply with GDPR and other data privacy legislation.
