Solving data comparison challenges for American Airlines

We use Variance Monitor to compare payroll results from a live payroll run to the results from a previous payroll run, and see if there's any reasonability check at the wage type level. So for instance, if the previous period paid, you know, a million dollars for instance in one period, then it jumped up to two million dollars, there's a giant gap there. So we want to identify those issues and dig deeper to see why there's a giant gap. So Variance Monitor helps out with that with ease. Before Variance Monitor, we had to use manual spreadsheets. Basically, you're pulling data from the previous payroll run, putting that in one spreadsheet, pulling the results from the current previous payroll run and the current one too, combining those together using cell formulas to give you the differences in the percentages. But with VM though, it just gives you all of that all in one go, so makes everything much easier.
