Considering SAP SuccessFactors? Jack Naudé, Solution Consultant SAP HCM and SuccessFactors at PostNL, shares some insights into working with SAP SuccessFactors and creating quality test data.

Tell us about PostNL’s journey to SuccessFactors and ECP, which is the cloud version of on-premise Payroll?

"The main issue that everybody is facing these days is access to systems and access to data, and Payroll data is no different to that. SuccessFactors actually gives that to a person, it is very user-orientated and process orientated…At PostNL, we’ve got a huge base of employees, about 40-50,000 people at any one stage…SuccessFactors was the logical step for us to give access to everybody and to make it more personal and accessible for everybody as well. We like it, we are very happy with it, and we are constantly evolving. ‘Happy in the cloud’ as they say!"

How is the EPI-USE Labs’ Object Sync extension for SuccessFactors being used by PostNL?

"It gave us another opportunity to utilise our data for a test environment as well. What you see in a cloud environment, different to an on-premises environment, is that you can configure everything on every client, so the uniformity that you usually had is not there anymore. Object Sync gave us the opportunity to bring that all back in line, and keep it in line."
