DLG secures its SAP Systems with Data Secure

In this video, Peter Rugaard from Danish-based DLG explains how they secured their SAP systems with Data Secure™ from EPI-USE Labs.

"Every time we implement a new company, then we make a new copy from the Production system. Every time we are using a copy of the Production system, we are not compliant.

My name is Peter Rugaard. I'm an internal senior IT consultant. My role is to fulfill the compliance in the DLG group, especially in the SAP systems.

DLG does a lot of things.

We have three pillars in the company: food, building materials, and energy.

It's one of the biggest companies in Denmark. At the moment, we are doing a lot of things because we are making a greenfield implementation of the SAP solution in DRG. So we have a lot of systems. We have a lot of clients in the systems.

And to get a compliant solution here, we had to do something, but we cannot isolate the data according to the GDPR. It's not possible without a tool for doing something. And then we are starting with masking the data we have copied.

Compliance is one thing. Another thing is compatibility with other systems. So now we can synchronize one, and then we can copy that when we have masked it to the other clients, and we are aligned and we are ready for testing, and also for education and so on, on the same data. It will bring us in front of being compliant and also to reduce the costs for doing it every time. At the same time, we also will save time."
