Creating clients and systems with DSM
Neil How from Limelight Solutions explains how they used Data Sync Manager (DSM) to create systems quickly and scramble sensitive data.
We've been running a complex global project, and the business has been evolving rapidly. It became apparent that the process we were using to create landscapes wasn't sufficient. Data Sync Manager (DSM) is a fantastic tool for creating clients and systems. We created a lot of new systems, and the time taken to create them is very short; and on top of this we have lots of clients, which are cut down versions of our Production landscapes. DSM also lets us do some quite clever scrambling on some of the more sensitive data. The team is top rated; we can't fault their delivery at all. The implementation took about three days, and the support given by the consultants provided on-site and thereafter was what made the project such a success.
