Creating secure test data for SAP SuccessFactors at PostNL
PostNL increased efficiency and saved costs with Data Sync Manager™ (DSM) Object Sync™ for SuccessFactors Add-on

Considering SAP SuccessFactors? Jack Naudé, Solution Consultant SAP HCM and SuccessFactors at PostNL, shares some insights into working with SAP SuccessFactors and creating quality test data.
Initially we chose EPI-USE Labs because we went from outsourced payroll to in-house payroll, and then we wanted to go to the cloud, so we actually had to move our payroll. Usually, the problem is you've got to find a time to do it, and with payroll, there's never a good time. So with EPI-USE Labs we were able to do it in the middle of the year, in the middle of the month, and everybody still got their money. We started just doing test data on our payroll system, but as we started using SuccessFactors, we actually noticed that there's a bigger scope for test data management and being able to synchronize SuccessFactors EC information with ECP. By using DSM and Object Sync, we can now create test data for our whole platform. So there has been a huge improvement in our day-to-day use of our systems. The benefits are time savings. You want real live test data, but you also have the problem of GDPR compliance. With the EPI-USE Labs tools we can mask our data and have sufficient test data in the blink of an eye.
