With the advent of GDPR, one of the things our customers are talking to us about, is the ability to help them remove older data from the systems. Most organisations have very mature SAP systems, sometimes with 10 or 15 years of history, and up until now they have seen a retention period as the time for which they must keep that data for, not the point at which that data must be removed.

With GDPR they now want to remove it. Removing that via archiving is quite a lengthy process because of the need to remove related transactions.

Using our redaction technology, we can break the link with an actual person and therefore the transactions can stay in the system, but the person's identity is protected.

Remove old data from mature SAP systems as part of your data privacy compliance process.
