Role: SAP HCM Consultant, Australia
Position overview
We are looking for motivated SAP professionals to join the PRISM Global Service line (GSL) of specialist teams delivering SAP solutions and services to clients worldwide, at a mid-level. Candidates will bring solid knowledge and hands-on experience of SAP and ideally of EPI-USE Labs’ products to contribute to PRISM transformation projects with a greater degree of independence.
The PRISM Global Service Line is focused on delivering project-based solutions to clients using our proprietary software and specialised services to provide innovative ways to solve complex requirements, primarily in two areas we call ‘PRISM for Business’ and ‘PRISM for Technology’. In both areas we use software and templated methodologies to execute data transformation/ETL operations, including complementary services to create turnkey solutions.

This role is for an SAP HCM Techno-Functional Consultant. We understand the functional side of SAP, so we welcome people with experience in both SAP functional and SAP technical roles. We commonly refer to ourselves as being ‘techno-functional’. We educate our people to master both technical and functional considerations.
Responsibilities
- Building and delivering new or existing PRISM solutions for our clients.
- Developing competence in the application of EPI-USE Labs’ software and solutions (Data Sync Manager, Query Manager, Variance Monitor, Archive Central, PRISM).
- On request, attending events to speak to clients, partners and our internal staff.
- Assisting the resourcing office and Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure delivery of projects is running smoothly; tracking and documenting project progress.
Qualifications required
- Bachelors or Master’s degree in science and engineering disciplines; or an additional five years in industry working with SAP.
- SAP Certifications of any type.
- Database administration certifications.
- Cloud certifications.
- Data, reporting, ETL or related solutions certifications.
Experience and skills
- Minimum of four years of SAP experience.
- Minimum of four years in the IT industry.
- Experience of working a minimum of three (3) SAP Project lifecycles.
- Able to apply knowledge of at least one key area of SAP – technical and/or functional – relevant to PRISM in a consulting context.
- Confident to build and deliver new or existing solutions with minimal oversight.
- Strong understanding of the SAP data model and its delivery.
- Strong communication skills; confident to engage independently with clients.
- Scoping and workshop skills.
- Strong time management skills.
Desirable skills
- Able to apply knowledge of at least one EPI-USE Labs product relevant to PRISM.
- Professional level in a second language relevant to EPI-USE Labs.
- Expertise in EPI-USE Labs' Data Sync Manager Suite.
- Experience writing a programming or scripting language; or administrating a database technology.
- ABAP experience (read, debug).
- Experience working on Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) projects.
- Experience working in SAP migration projects of any kind, though ideally to include S/4HANA, HCM (Payroll/SuccessFactors) or Analytics (BW, BW/4HANA, Datasphere).
- Working knowledge of parts of SAP functional data model.
- Experience with SAP test data & data migration solutions: SAP LT, LTMC, TDMS, LSMW.
- SAP Archiving and Information Lifecycle.
