Leap into the future: Sunset your legacy SAP applications

So thank you so much for taking the time and joining our webinar for today. So just a warm welcome to all of you. We'll be talking about how to sunset your SAP legacy applications. So just a quick introduction, I am Ariel. I work for the marketing team here at APJ for Epiuse Labs. And together with me here is Joy. Hi. Good morning, everyone. Let's have a quick introduction about our company. Over to you, Daniel. Excellent. Thanks, Mario. Thanks, Julie. Welcome, everyone. Yes. So as mentioned, we'll, be looking today at our, solution, Archive Central. So what I'll do is take you through a little bit of the background as to, what the solution is and why we've built it and then demo a solution in use and also show you some of the ways that we can upload data into Archive Central. So first of all, we'll have a bit of a talk about the business drivers and the reasons behind the Archive Central, solution. So what we've built and put together with Archive Central has been in use for about two and a half years now, but it's built on top of, a variety of technology that we've been growing, and improving, you know, for ten to twenty years, within EPIUS Labs. So we'll see some of those components coming together in the demo and as we step through. But we've found in recent years with the types of work and the types of, projects we've been getting involved in that, we're seeing more and more organizations have legacy data sets or, sets of data from old systems that are no longer actively used, in production, but they need to hang on to those for some kind of, legislation or audit or compliance type reasons for read only access, and view. So the key drivers behind Archive Central and why we've put it together as a new modern product, as we see here. So there's three key areas that we see coming through, potentially around the retirement of a legacy system. So, with digital transformation, cloud move, cloud migrations becoming key in recent years, there are older applications that may not move to cloud, may not move to SaaS, end up being retired as the business process moves on to modern applications. But you do need to retain and hold that data. So, Archive Central gives a method for, moving away from that old application, which may not, easily fit into a new cloud architecture or cloud system and stops you having to pay ongoing access or maintenance fees for an old legacy, SaaS solution. So probably the best example of this practically is, customers within GroupElephant that are that we're helping move to SAP ECP, and they have a variety of, non SAP payroll solutions left behind as legacy. So we're helping move those into Archive Central. So we've got some customers that have moved four or five different older payroll solutions to Archive Central as they've moved to SAP ECP.
