On 9 October last year, EPI-USE Labs, SALT Analytics, KID Group, and GlueData Services hosted an insightful Data Day event at the SAP Experience Center in Johannesburg, South Africa. The event brought together industry experts to explore cutting-edge solutions for data strategy, transformation, and innovation in SAP environments.
The day was packed with knowledge-sharing sessions from four SAP Partners:
- GlueData Services: S/4HANA transformation and master data quality
GlueData shared strategies for navigating S/4HANA transitions, emphasising data quality as a cornerstone for successful migrations. They highlighted the importance of early data preparation, cleansing in source systems, and leveraging selective data transition methods to ensure cleaner, leaner data landscapes.
- KID Group: Unlocking AI potential with DataRobot
KID Group demonstrated how organisations can leverage AI through their partnership with DataRobot to drive predictive insights and streamline business processes. By combining SAP and non-SAP data, their approach integrates AI models into SAP ecosystems, enabling smarter decision-making across domains like supply chain, finance, and talent management.
- SALT Analytics: Decentralised data architecture and SAP Datasphere
SALT Analytics delved into the challenges of decentralised data architectures, such as inconsistencies and duplications. They showcased how SAP Datasphere provides the foundation for a unified business data fabric, enabling secure, governed, and accessible data for innovative and stable solutions.
- EPI-USE Labs: Data Secure™ – Data masking and privacy solutions
EPI-USE Labs wrapped up the event with a session on data privacy and security. We highlighted our Data Privacy Suite, a robust solution for masking sensitive data in SAP environments, ensuring compliance with global data privacy regulations like GDPR and POPIA. This solution safeguards information while maintaining referential integrity across systems.
